Once remedial ant treatments are completed, we highly recommend starting an ongoing preventative treatment program around your home or building. Treatment Details:

 

Fine's Pest Control treats a variety of ant species common in our area, from soil ants to the highly destructive wood-destroying carpenter ants. During each ant treatment, we perform an exterior spray of your home or building using a safe, highly effective residual insecticide. This insecticide leaves an invisible residue behind. Foraging ants come into contact with this residue and carry it back to their nesting locations, eventually eliminating the ant nest.

 

We also use ant species-specific baits around the interior and exterior of your home or building. Foraging ants take this bait back to the nest to feed the colony, leading to the elimination of the nest. While our treatment is effective without pinpointing the exact nesting locations, Fine's Pest Control still conducts an inspection during this treatment to look for potential ant nesting sites.

 

The insecticide we use is a broad-spectrum insecticide, meaning it will also significantly reduce non-target insect activity, including spiders, stinging insects, centipedes, occasional invaders, and over 50 other insects native to our service area (termites and bed bugs are not included).

 

After treatment, it takes approximately 15 days for the materials to become completely effective. We offer a 30-day treatment warranty, which begins 15 days after treatment to allow for the full effect.
